RINGO Where
This installation concept for RINGO Where consists of two pieces that can be placed anywhere—indoors or outdoors, in a mall, at a ski resort, or even on water.
The idea is that RINGO Where appears to be ducking into the ground, water, snow, or wherever he’s placed, and popping out the other side.
I imagine it as a massive 20-foot-high piece you can enter, play in, and climb around. The nose would feature a swing for kids, while the feet would each hold a lookout tower facing a different direction.
Rambles
In Heya3000, two unassuming dark-green creatures with blue faces and tiny pink noses hung out together—one standing on little feet, the other stretched out like a sleepy dog. Their faces stayed wide in awe as they talked and talked about all they saw.
“Look at those colorful trees,” the standing one whispered with a grin,“leaves like bright purple zigzags that sway and spin—like they’re dancing just for fun!” The lying-down one nodded, eyes all aglow.
“And those strange shaped objects that twist and flow
into orange blobs and blue swirls so bright.
Are they secret toys from a dream at night?” And so they kept chatting with gentle funny ideas,
turning every ordinary thing into a big, quiet adventure of cheers.
Wurddy Burddy
Wurddy Burddy was a chatty little bird who loved using big, fancy, wordy words all the time. With a quick flip of his hat, a clever new word would pop into his head, and he would stretch even the simplest things—like a yummy worm or a tall tree—into long, important-sounding sentences that made everything seem extra special and a little bit funny.
