Doraemon doodles

The simplicaity of Doraemon has always caught my attention. From the fun round shapes and the iconic blue, white, red and yellow bell. Its always fun to mess with such characters. Ball point pen, while the variety is vast, the lines almost always have a raw texture. Try it.

Once you start, you know the character has a great design when you can rinse and repeat in various forms and still keep the characters essence or completely wreck it hilariously. Get lost daily.

new iterations and new characters. Maybe whatever we do create and fiddle with regardless of medium never stops, and continues at a later date? And where we leave off doesn’t necessarily need to be pin point accurate anyways. But the sheer joy of discovery is underrated.

Out of all the cat characters I enjoy Doraemon for the flexibility to emote with simple and fun expressions without thinking to much. Mount Lava is about getting lost in many ideas, and possibly never finding a way back. Floating ever so far away. Essentially inspiring

Random wobbles, scribbles and doodles

Greetings. I’ll be doing drawings in my sketchbook, which I will take the time to scan and share with you.

Check in on this section from time to time for updates to see the collection of work and ideas brewing.

The janky doodles are a part of the Heya3K world. Drawn with whatever medium is on hand at the time. Hopefully this will keep ideas and textures recorded and evolve them over time. Expect to see whimsical characters and parodies of known cartoons.
